The story of Christmas; Day 6: (Acts 5:31) "God exalted him at his right hand as leader and savior to grant Israel repentance and forgiveness of sins."
Our story on the sixth day of December:
Sick day.
Izzy is still coughing, Xander and Mommy are still feeling yucky. Everleigh is now joining us with runny nose and sneezing, cough. Daddy is the last one standing, so to speak. Let's just hope and pray we get this sickness moved out of here before Christmas.
Tonight Daddy helped the kids write letters to Santa.

Izzy colored a picture. She wants Santa to bring her "a giant robot." 🤷♀️

Everleigh's wish list for Santa:
-walking pig toy with a leash
-Polly pocket
-walking puppy toy
-toy penguin
-a bathroom for the penguin
She said,"this is so much fun," and made up songs about writing a letter to Santa. 🎶🙌

Xander's wishlist includes none of the things he said he wanted a week ago.🙄 As of today he is asking Santa for:
-skateboard (Xander:"Mommy and daddy can tech me how."....Me: "🤔")
-snowboard (Again..."😳🤔")
-nurf gun(the only thing that remains consistent)
I hope Santa is half asleep when he reads that list because I'm not a fan of the changes.🤷♀️
Meanwhile, Daddy wants an ironman helmet. 🤣 I can just picture him wearing that while push mowing the yard.😂
Ironically, today is the feast day of Saint Nicholas, which I didn't remember until after the kids had started their letters. Perhaps it's not irony at all, but a God thing instead. I dare to say God had his hand in the order of effects on this one. 😜 I'm so inspired by the life that St. Nicholas lived. If we are called to live and love like Jesus, Saint Nicholas definitely had the right idea. He was so very generous. I think next year we will write our letters on St. Nick's feast day on purpose!☺️

Mommy's wishlist is for everyone to kick this sickness and feel better! Sounds like I better send my wishlist to the man upstairs, perhaps with the help of good ol' St. Nick.🙌
Disclaimer: I won't always post daily. I am wanting to record all the Christmas magic and memories because it's indeed special; a time I wish to look back on. I don't have to tell you that these moments, hours, days go by so
incredibly fast. (Fast when we're writing letters to Santa but slow when we're talking musinex and blowing our noses for hundredth time. ☺️)
