22 days to Christmas

Our Story:

Izzy is still feeling yucky.

She's congested, coughing, sneezing..Her and Momma are pretty wore out.

We spent much of the day cuddling, watching Christmas movies, and lathering the Breathe stick onto Izzy's chest.

Tonight we made a paper chain. This is one of Everleigh's favorite traditions. Daddy cut our paper strips out so you can bet your butt they were all the same size, accurately measured and cut😁. The kids alternated red and green strips. There were a few minor fights about whose turn it was to put the next link on. 🙈🤦 Evie wanted to put a star at the top of the chain. We couldn't find any yellow construction paper so we all agreed that hanging it from the star on the tree would work.

I attempted to make cranberry garland. I haven't hung it on the tree yet,so we shall see about that.

We agreed that Izzy was trying to play the role of Mary from the scripture😆

We are one day closer to Jesus' Birthday celebration and hopefully one day closer to Izzy feeling better.🙏

I played this song after we read today's scripture. I thought it was beautiful. ❤️ofcourse we closed out the night with Xander and Evie singing their favorite Polar Express tracks yet again.

Today wasn't perfect, but it held some perfect moments. Now off to cuddle my sick babe.
