Our Story ( December 5):

I guess it's Xander's turn to be sick because he woke up with a fever today. Needles to say we stayed home from churchie. He did feel well enough to pay outside for a little bit this afternoon, but by evening his fever came crawling back.

Izzy feel asleep in this chair the night before last. Turns out Xander fell asleep on it the same way tonight while we were attending virtual church. It must be the sick child tamer.🙌

Today consisted of:

Eat. Clean up the kitchen. Vicks vapor rub. Meds. Snacks. Drinks. Clean up the kitchen. Repeat.

Precious Moments

Evie asked me if I would have a picnic with her this morning behind the couch. She had a blanket laid out and had put two oranges out. She said she "wanted it to just be you and me." She wanted to talk about chickens which was adorable until she asked me, "How to chickens lay eggs out their butt?" (She LOVES her backyard chickens. 🤣). I told her we would find an informative video another time. She was pretending that we were outside. I love her creativity, her imagination and the fact that she wanted Mommy all to herself for a bit. It was very sweet and I hope not to forget it anytime soon.

Daddy finished hanging the outdoor wreaths and fixing our blow up Santa.🙌 We managed to squeeze a movie into our day today. I watched Elf with the girls while Xander and Daddy were outside. Izabelle might be sick but there is nothing wrong with her appetite, as she asked me for so many snacks, I was ready to run away. 😜

I'm going to wrap some gifts while the kiddos are sleeping.🤫. Then it's bath and vicks vapor rub for me.
